14 with Cease Fire, Jamaat links recover | Noida News

Ghaziabad: Fourteen people admitted with Covid-19 at two hospitals in Ghaziabad have recovered, health department officials said on Monday.
They said three persons, who were in the chain of contacts of Noida-based company Cease Fire, have been discharged and told to remain in home quarantine for the next 14 days.
The rest of the patients are members of Tablighi Jamaat and hence, they need approval from the police to discharge them. Of the 14 patients, six were admitted to the Covid hospital in CHC Murdanagar, said officials, and eight were under treatment at ESI Hospital in Rajendra Nagar (Sahibabad).
The number of recovered patients in the district stands at 31 while 26 are under treatment. The three discharged patients are: an HR manager of Cease Fire company, her husband and a sister of an employee from the same firm. The couple was admitted on March 29. The third patient, a 22-year-old woman, stays with her sister in Vasundhara.
Officials said the health department is planning to release over 250 people, mostly Tablighi workers, who are nearing the 28 days mandatory isolation period at various quarantine centres.
Most of the members were brought to the quarantine centres between March 31 and the first week of April.
